Currently cobbling together an approx 8 cu ft vented box for use with my Janis 1A crossover/amp. Any thoughts on the utility of a zobel network for this driver?

No Idea. I have only used it as a test driver so far.

Hi DanB, welcome to the forum.
The very first post in this thread shows the Thiele / Small (T/S) Speaker Parameters for the driver. For some background see the Speaker Zobel Circuit Calculator. You can use the above calculator along with Le and Re of the driver to calculate a Zobel circuit.
Cheers,
Gio

Is there enough room to fit a subwoofer in a 2000 GMC Sonoma regular cab? I am getting this truck from my cousin.I just want to see if there is enough room for a subwoofer that is not wild. but it stands out. like the subwoofer is good just for normal use. also please let me know what kind of subwoofers i should get and the size of them. also what type of amplifier.

I hope you get a reply, but I am going to guess that many of us will bow out on this question.
This is a generally home audio forum and unless one of us owns a Sonoma we wouldnt know. Please take my comment in stride, there is no 'holier than thou' sentiment here, its just not our thing.
