Paint job is taking ages, I have gone with satin black from spray cans, lots of rubbing down with 400 grit wet and dry sand paper between coats. I have cut a access hole in the bottom panel to make mounting the crossover pcb easier.I may etch my own crossover pcb, I have been ordering components ready to build.

Nearly finished cabinet, have been sorting out crossover pcb, etched one using etch resist pen result was crap so I cut out tracks using my makita laminate trimmer result was good I think. When I soldered in components I run extra solder to thicken up the tracks and keep resistance down. I used 12w non inductive resistors and audio quality capacitors.

Wow, that is coming along very nicely. The trim work is fantastic.

For a large and simple PCB like for a crossover grinding the copper away is fine and there are no chemicals to deal with.

One thing that bothers me is the L-Pad resistors do you think that 10 watt is high enough?

0.51 ohm / 10W resistor should be good for ~4.4A which would be at about 150W into the speakers.
