Just a few more pics. Not ready yet but at least I have managed to get my brain together and know how to make a smart wiring. It may look like an easy task to connect a few components, but sometimes, what looks very simple may end up very complicated.

Certainly looks the part. I have a 15W Class D which is also very small. Not sure yet how to box it up.

I have two 25W amps like THIS ONE, one with BT and the other like the one described at the address given. The Bluetoothed one was ordered "by mistake" and I really don't know how to handle it (sell it propably). The other one will be housed in an old box for external HDDs. Have to fix the internal chassis to hold various connectors.

Also, I have had thoughts of installing small amp boards in various speakers. I am building a pair of simple BR boxes for my Fostex FE164 and realised that a pair of heavier stuff could have been installed in the boxes.

Hey guys,

On the basis of this thread, I ordered up a pair of these tiny PAM8403 modules from eBay. The ones I found come with a sealed combo on/off switch with potentiometer. All for about $1.50US including shipping. Ridiculous if you ask me. In the photo are a pair of modules, one module sealed in the production packaging and an Alps Blue Velvet potentiometer to the left for scale.

Compact and great layout on these modules. A steal for the cost. I also ordered up some PAM8610 modules which are 10W and cost about $2.50US each. Not sure how I will use the modules yet, but just had to grab a few to at least tinker with.

Cheers

Yes crazy price. But how do they sound, cheap or not.

Hi Mark. So far I've just tried them out with a test driver on a bench, so I can't comment on sound. Into 8 ohms the scoped output was very clean to a little over 1W.

I finally got the 25Watter together. Packed in an scrapped HDD-chassis. Works fine.

I should have a photo of the amp "closed". And some other ideas. Later ...
