MCA is almost finished in a enclosure and in stereo mode, now with 2 ohms resistors at PSU the hum is GONE :P the amp is absolutely silent, but 2 ohms resistors get very hot so need to be out of PSU board.
Showing some pics next time

My setup is, pc source connect directly to MCA and full range Beymas.
Sound is detail, 3D, with sweet HF and fast but not so deep LF
The same setup with NP-100v12 as preamp as deeper LF( going down to 40Hz ) and improved 3D.
Total cost of this power amp was 150 euros. for this price it´s a bargain!

Thanks mwhouston :beerchug:

Thank you. You are the first to build a complete MCA. Is it in an enclosure and complete? Any images? How loud does it play?

sorry for poor quality pics, those resistors near power caps should be placed away.
With cd player as source it sounds even better

How loud does it play?

IMHO to much loud to my taste :(
without preamp, above 10 o´clock volume pot is to much for me.
with preamp ( NP-100v12 ) and cd player no more than 8 o´clock volume pot... your neighbours will complain

I found the ZCA sounded better with a tube preamp. I would also suggest that the MCA would benefit from a preamp also.

Well done you are the first to own a fully completed MCA. Now I need to design something else along the same lines.

congrats alvmaia ...it looks really fine :-)

amazing that it should take two years until this construction should see the daylight as a finish build.

my mca is still playing as a point to point construction laying on the table. unfortunately i'm not so happy about the sound compaired to my mosfet pass de'lite build, so i don't think it will be build into an enclosure. my zca is also not in use, it's just collecting dust on the shelf.
