So can get this get on the main page? =D Or maybe you should make a new thread so it's easier to find if it's not going to be an official project...

That would be Gio.

Guitar is off the main focus of this site so the main page is note appropriate. However, we can park it under the Audio Schematics tab. I'll make a guitar subsection.

Pull a summary together with attachments all in one post in this thread. Them let me know and I will look after the rest.

Cheers

Hey Gio ;-)
Indeed, i know. Thanks a lot for the subsection. Great that you give it a chance! Now - it was more a little fun project but came out good.

I am working on a manual. When it's done i will post the complete stuff here. Thanks again.

BTW - i made some changes on the circuit because i ran into a little problem. The amp started to oscillate with a connected effect pedal (Stomp box).
I changed the input again and again, decreased the current and biased it lower. It still works very good and should be rock solid now -
with any inputs... I also scoped the input again and again. The only thing that left behind is a little ammount of extra noise which is amplified
by the high-gain effect circuit. The single circuit (without effect) behaves like before. Sensitive Hi Z input with a little ammount of noise
(which can be heard when the knob is turned up). I think that's not a drama and effects do not cause any more trouble now.

Now - it is ready - definately.

Awesome. I think a lot of people would appreciate it. I don't know why there aren't more guitar amp projects out there like this. I looked for a very long time to no avail for something along these lines. A ruby amp is much too small, while copying a Fender Bassman schematic is much too big of a hassle.

Good median. Thanks Gio for putting it up. I'll tell all my friends about it! =p

Thanks for the poke. I missed Tom's post.

Nice work Tom.

Have there been any others built?

Cheers
