My Le monstre build no 2 is half way done...

the power supply and casework is nearly done.

crazyabtubes i am not sure which one will suit your heatsinks, can you tell me the degC/W rating ?

I have no idea what the dissipation rating of these sinks are but I will be using a large fan to keep them at a cool temperature so I really should have no problem with most of the designs around.

Fans work really well - but i am a bit of a "fan hater" as they introduce quite a bit of noise electircally (sometimes) and mechanically - air circulating.

i prefer more heatsinking as you can see in the pic :P

I just have to connect the speaker protection circuit and the back panel wire the amps in and its good to go !!!

HI Guys,

Went on a mad building spree....

fitted the speaker protection the protection was cutting in and out.... turns out i had a faulty relay....sigh.... replaced it and its good to go listening to the amp right now ! sounds great !!

So Dan, what is your result conclusion? Does it sound as good or better than your first Le Monstre build?
